A three-week academic program in Munich

In cooperation with LMU’s International University Club, the C·A·P hosted a group of students from Australian partner universities for a three-week academic program in Munich. Throughout the program, students discussed the historical background, the legal foundations and the political and economic implications of the European integration process.
The program also included numerous excursions: In Munich, the students visited the Bavarian state parliament and met with MP Mechthilde Wittmann. At the concluding studies trip to Brussels, students visited the European Commission and the European Parliament. Moreover, they met MEP Arne Lietz and had in-depth discussions with Janis Emmanouilidis, Director of Studies at the European Policy Center as well as with Yannik Bendel at Transparency International's Brussels office.
