For 2020, C·A·P at LMU together with its university cooperation partners again offers two summer school programs for both undergraduate and graduated students, taking place in Munich as well as other locations, during the months of July and August.
The European Studies Program, from 13 July – 14 or 28 August 2020, introduces students to the European Union. Participants will hereby not only become juniorEU experts but will also experience Europe in three different cities and immerse into different European cultures, namely Vienna, Prague and Munich. Moreover, students may apply for an optional German language class that complements the EU Studies summer academy.
During the Middle East Summer School, from 3 – 21 August 2020, the students will be provided with a broad understanding of the key political, economic, and societal developments in the contemporary Middle East as a region, and its main countries and political players. In addition to the academic part, the Summer School also includes visits to public institutions and private organizations with reference to the MENA region during the trip to Berlin.
Further, the Summer School Programs offers a rich cultural program with sightseeing, visits to museums, traditional Munich beer gardens, the capital city of Germany Berlin, a trip to Nuremberg, and much more.
