Five Summer Programs at C·A·P

21.08.2014 · C·A·P

This year's summer school program marked two premières: For the first time, four EU studies programs have been completed by students of numerous prestigious Chinese universities. In 2008, the first summer school about the EU was launched in cooperation with the Peking University. Ever since, the numbers of participants have grown, eventually including students from other partner universities such as Zehjiang University, Tongji University, Tsinghua University, Renmin University, Tsinghuav University and Xiamen University.

The second première this year was the successful launch of the 2014 Munich-Vienna Middle East Summer School. Lectures and seminars were jointly conceived by the Center for Applied Policy Research and the Middle East and International Affairs Research Group, MEIA Research e.V., providing cutting-edge research and up-to-date information from the region. Academics and professionals from places as far away as Ecuador and Japan took part in the Middle East Summer School.
