Am 13./14.10.2005 veranstaltete der Ausschuss für konstitutionelle Fragen des Europäischen Parlaments eine Anhörung zur "Zukunft des Verfassungsprozesses der Europäischen Union". Als Experte eingeladen war auch Janis Emmanouilidis vom Centrum für angewandte Politikforschung. Das Positionspapier "Overcoming he Constitutional Crisis" diente als Vorlage für die Diskussion.
