Cooperation with National University of Singapore

16.06.2013 · C·A·P

For the fifth time now, the Center for Applied Policy Research (C·A·P) and the Munich International Summer University of the LMU (MISU) are conducting their European Studies Program for students from the National University of Singapore (NUS). The European Studies Program offers the opportunity to deepen the knowledge about the European Union in theoretical and practical terms. While under the patronage of the C·A·P, this MISU program will not only take place in Munich but also lead students to Prague and Vienna. Here, the C·A·P’s cooperation partner is the Austrian Institute for European and Security Policy (AIES).

The twenty-day program will provide extensive background knowledge on the European affairs. The summer academy concentrates on the EU’s historical development as well as its economic, social, political and legal dimensions. This year’s program puts special emphasis on the European Union’s foreign and security policy as well as the EU’s East Enlargement and European immigration policy.

A cultural program in Munich, Prague and Vienna as well as a two-day trip to the Bavarian Castle Neuschwanstein complete the MISU experience.
