The Academy Leadership & Competence serves as a supplier of educational concepts, training and consulting in the field of curricular and extracurricular civic education. The focus of our work is to advance democratic thinking and action in our society.

In the context of our projects the Academy develops, evaluates and supports implementation at the interface between theory and practice.  Our portfolio comprises innovative concepts for democratic discourse, for decision making and for learning to accept the consequences. As part of a migration society, our work focusses on issues of heterogenity and diversity as well as on the participatory regulation of political and societal processes. Our philosophy provides for orientation without formulas, always aiming at the advancement of the autonomy and responsibility of our participants by professional coaching and regular pedagogical updates.

We provide concepts and training which help individuals, groups and institutions strengthen their democratic competences concerning decision-making and conflict resolution. Our approach emphasizes the daily life experience and the relevance for specific private and occupational contexts.

Our target groups comprise the following:

• Publishers and project managers in political and intercultural educational institutions

• Executives and responsible persons at the interfaces of politics, administration, police, economy and free associations

• Trainers of democracy learning educational and other fields
