Delegation from Chulalongkorn University visits LMU und C·A·P

A three-week study trip at the invitation of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD)

On October 20, 2011, a delegation from the Chulalongkorn University’s Faculty of Political Science visited the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich. The students came to Germany for a three-week study trip at the invitation of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). Head of the group was Prof. Dr Natthanan Kunnamas from Chulalongkorn University.

After a guided tour at the LMU’s main building and a presentation at the International Office the students visited the Center for Applied Policy Research and met with Lars Colschen, Managing Director of the Geschwister-Scholl-Institute of Political Science (GSI), and Michael Bauer, Senior Researcher at the C·A·P to discuss current affairs in German and European politics.

The C·A·P is also contributing to the Masters program in European Studies of Chulalongkorn’s Graduate School.  LMU and Chulalongkorn University are strategic partners and cooperate also in other areas, e.g. on medicine and communication science.
