The International Spectator

Transatlantic Editors' Forum

14.09.2004 · C·A·P

The Internernational SpectatorItaly's only English language review of foreign affairs, The International Spectator tracks current economic and political trends. Its aim is to provide academics, policy makers and interested laymen with in-depth and thought-provoking analyses of regional and global issues lying within the journal's areas of primary interest - Italian foreign policy, European integration, the Balkans, Mediterranean and Middle Eastern affairs and transatlantic relations.

The International Spectator is well known for its special issues or cores; in 1998, cores focussed on the euro, the Balkans, foreign economic policy responses to globalisation, and Kosovo. Now, in addition to the usual Essays section, offering insight into and evidencing the factors underlying international developments, the quarterly has inaugurated an Opinions section which hosts comments on topical questions by well known names from the political, institutional and academic worlds.
