Carnegie Council on Ethics and International Affairs

Transatlantic Editors' Forum

14.09.2004 · C·A·P

Ethics and International Affairs Ethics and International Affairs proceeds from the premise that the world's principal ethical traditions are a vital element in the search for global peace and justice. It publishes articles and book reviews that illuminate the moral dimensions of international affairs and how they relate to political, social, economic, and national security approaches. Recognizing that there is no one right way and that most policy options are flawed, we view the "ethics" in our mandate as entailing the careful evaluation of principles that often conflict. Essays by leading scholars express a range of thoughtful perspectives on the most urgent issues of our time.
