The Research Group on the Global Future concentrates on political and social concepts for tomorrow 's world. It is primarily concerned with the social issues which will be of importance in the first three decades of the 21st century, and places a special emphasis on the social, political, and economic consequences of the changes which are the result of globalization, international networking, and innovative technology in the industrialized world.
