Agriculture 21
Published by the department for agriculture located at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, Agriculture 21 features news and background stories on agricultural issues, covering topics from genetic engineering to biodiversity and fertilizer usage.

Global Change
This magazine, sponsored by the Pacific Institute, focuses on climate change and ozone depletion. The articles are brief and written for a very broad audience. A large glossary is provided for those who are not familiar with some of the words we use. For those who wish to learn more about specific topics or articles, Global Change provides extensive references, including direct linkages to information sources elsewhere on the Internet.

Environmental Science & Engineering Magazine
The bi-monthly magazine covers Canada's environmental protection industry and is dealing with a variety of sustainability-related topics. Its mission is to reach key specifiers, consulting engineers, municipal and industrial engineers and key government technical staff with environmental responsibilities. Back issues are available online, dating back to 1996.

Environmental Protection Online
This magazine features new products and technologies, and provides information on legislation, business and environmental management. Editors' goal is to serve the diversified needs of environmental professionals working in industry, consulting firms, government and research institutes.

Environmental Data Services (ENDS)
ENDS is a daily news service focusing on environmental news mainly of Europe and UK. Service is free but registration is needed. The service offers links to a consultant’s directory and provides for key articles and monthly content of the ENDS report.

Brookings Policy Brief
This policy brief by Donald F. Kettle presents an overview of US environmental policy and looks at what has been accomplished and what is yet to be done. The brief studies "the second generation" of environmental policy strategies such as market-based approaches, consensus-building, and performance-based measures.

Alternatives Journal
"After Brundtland" looks back at ten years of environmental policy after the influential report Our Common Future was released by the World Commission on Environment and Development. The article focuses on how environmental groups seek to realize the principles stated in this report, taking the example of the Bakun Dam project in Malaysia. The story appeared in Alternatives Journal, a quarterly magazine of news and analysis on environmental thought, policy and action.

WIND Directions Magazine
The magazine is the official publication of the European Wind Energy Association. The site offers highlights from past issues, dealing with news, current technological developments, and market information from the wind power industries.

Defenders Magazine
Published by Defenders of Wildlife, an organization dedicated to the protection of all native wild animals and plants in their natural communities, the magazine explores a range of biodiversity and conservation topics.

Wired Magazine
Peter Schwartz and Peter Leyden depict possible scenarios for the decades to come. The bottom line: We are facing 25 years of prosperity, freedom, and a better environment for the whole world. You got a problem with that?
