A research program from Brunel University. "Virtual Society?” features articles about different social aspect of the Internet, such as the future of universities and the digital divide.

Pew Internet and American Life Project. Creates funds and research on the impact of the Internet on children, families, communities, the work place, schools, political life and so on. The reports corner collects information and news about Internet and society from other news sources and sites.

Sociological resource site with information on the Information society. Documents from various authors concerning all kinds of issues from cyber society and e-communities to cyberspace, virtual reality and communication theory. It also offers links to research centers worldwide.

The Aspen Institute offers studies and strategy papers on structural changes in the 21st century and their political implications.

The Hubert Burda Center for Innovative Communication: The Center's mission and objectives are to develop a common discourse among media scholars, practitioners, entrepreneurs, and policy makers; and to research, compare, analyze, and interpret older and newer media.
