Douglas Voigt received a BA in Anthropology and Political Science from the University of Minnesota followed by a MA in International Political Economy at the University of Kent's Brussels School of International Studies. After obtaining an MPhil from the New School for Social Researcher in New York while functioning as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at the Institut fuer Politik- und Kommunikationswissenschaft at the Universtaet Greifswald, he was offered a fellowship to write his PhD from the European Studies Department at King's College London. His research focuses on European political economy and comparative social policy, specifically on labour market regimes. He has been Co-editor of C·A·Perspectives since 2011 and currently resides in London.
