From March 17 to 22, the Center for Applied Policy Research and the International University Club of the LMU are conducting their European Studies Program in cooperation with the Graduate School of Chulalongkorn University (Bangkok). The program offers students of the Chulalongkorn University’s MA program the opportunity to deepen their knowledge about the European Union in theoretical and practical terms.

The five-day program will provide a thorough overview of Germany’s role in the European Union. Other important aspects are European trade and development policies, Europe’s role in international affairs and the European debt- and currency crisis within the frame of the international financial crisis. In addition, this year’s program puts a special focus on political culture and social change within the European Union.
