Visit of delegation of Chinese think tanks to the C·A·P

On June 28, the Center for Applied Policy Research has welcomed the heads of five leading Chinese think tanks. The group, under the leadership of Mrs. Prof. Zhou Hong, head of the European Institute at the Chinese Academy for Social Sciences (CASS), is visiting Germany on a ten-day study and dialogue program upon invitation of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung. At the C·A·P, they met with several senior academic researchers and discussed chances and challenges of EU-Chinese political relations. Questions involved the current state of the European Union as well as the possibility of cooperation in trade and security policy. Upon parting, both sides acknowledged the need for further discussion on aforementioned topics.
