Das Projekt „Black Sea Young Reformers Fellowship” eröffnete das Projektjahr 2011 symbolträchtig am Schwarzen Meer. Die „Black Sea Young Reformers Fellows 2011“ wurden von den Gastgebern, Helen Khoshtaria, BSYR Alumna 2010 und Ministerin für Europäische und Euro-Atlantische Integration in Georgien sowie Giorgi Baramidze, georgischer stellvertretender Premierminister und Minister für Euro-Atlantische Integration herzlich in Batumi begrüßt. Unter dem Thema „Agents of Reform in the Black Sea Region - National Agendas and International Assistance“ diskutierte das hochrangige Publikum daraufhin drei Tage lang die Rolle verschiedener Akteure in der Schwarzmeer-Region.

Projektpartner sind die Robert Bosch Stiftung, das Centrum für angewandte Politikforschung (C·A·P), das Institute for Regional and International Studies (IRIS) und der Black Sea Trust for Regional Cooperation of the German Marshall Fund of the United States.
